We Believe…
In one God, Almighty, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, holy and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
In Jesus Christ, Who is fully God and fully man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins; was buried, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and now intercedes for us as High Priest and Advocate.
In the Holy Spirit, co-equal with the Father and Son who glorifies the Lord Jesus, convicts, guides, instructs, empowers and gives gifts to believers.
In the Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, as the inspired Word of God, which are entirely trustworthy and without error in the original writings. They are the final authority in matters of Christian life and practice.
That all men are created in the likeness of God but have sinned and are guilty before God.
In the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ which alone can restore the broken relationship between man and God. The death and resurrection of Jesus provide the only ground for a sinner’s justification and forgiveness of sins.
In the personal return of the Lord Jesus to take all believers to be with Himself forever.
In the bodily resurrection of the dead – of believers to everlasting blessedness and of the unbeliever to everlasting, conscious judgment a way from the presence of God.
In Christian baptism, in accordance with the command of Christ, as an expression of a believer’s identification with Christ and commitment to follow Him. Baptism is not a means of or aid to salvation.
That the celebration of the Lord’s Supper is the privilege and responsibility of all believers in accordance with the command of Christ.
In the Church, local and universal, as consisting of Christians who are united in one body of Christ by the work of the Holy Spirit.
